How Old is Too Old?

Some might say its 12 others might give you until your 15 but for everyone out there the age that one must stop dressing up and going out door to door getting candy on Halloween night is a little bit different, but for McKenzie and I that age is 17! That's right we got dressed up and went out to get our selves some candy! How much candy you might ask? only about 3 pounds worth! haha you know you're all jealous! We even had our story made up if someone asked how old we were....12 and in the 7th grade...it's believable right? haha

The Collection of Hats

So the other day we had a substitute in seminary(Brother Burton), he first started off by telling us some really random jokes that in the right mood were pretty funny and then showed some classes this video. I figure if you need a good laugh this is the video to watch!
p.s. he has a collection of over 400 different hats and he models most of them right here.
p.p.s look at his belt buckle...isn't awesome??

Hello Allstate, I think Mr Mayhiem just landed on my car.

Yes my friends that would me by dear car and good friend Clark. It’s really quite a tragic story actually. So I will tell you a little bit of what happened. On Monday night when I was heading to work I saw some people on the side of the road, so being the good driver that I am, I slowed down and when I got closed and was creeping by a man jumped onto the hood of my car and smashed into my windshield. It was in the Salt Lake Tribune and on almost every local news station most just a little blurb but if you want to see the whole story you can read it here. As for the writing on the car, some of my friends decided to pay me a middle-of-the-night visit and leave me some notes. My personal favorite? The "Oops!" that was on the windshield. I'm still not sure who it was the stopped by but you made me smile and even chuckle a bit. :)

The DMK

Well now, I bet you're wondering what this DMK is exactly. Well to get the whole idea behind this lets go back. A few weeks ago in my ProStart class we are assigned a burger contest, We got to pick our groups and I was with Dallon and Kendra. We started to brainstorm some ideas like a grilled cheese burger with tomato soup sauce and gold fish, a breakfast burger, and spaghetti burger. But the one that we all like best was The Deep Fried Burger! (it was my idea yay) So I can probably guess what you're thinking right now, A deep fried burger?! what are they thinking?... we then got to work on what exactly this burger would be, we finally decided on a burger stuffed with Monterrey jack cheese, with bacon, tomatoes, and onions. it would then be deep fried and injected with BBQ sauce. We got together to practice this idea, to see if it actually would taste good. The results turned out great! We loved it especially with the BBQ sauce, plus My whole family absolutely loved the DMK (which stands for Dallon, McKenzie, Kendra) The name could change Cause it has already a couple of times from the Deep Fried Deluxe to Genius in a Bun, and now the DMK. Tomorrow is the competition which I am absolutely stoked for! I'm pretty sure our burger could win and be added to the Restaurant(spartan cove's) menu!! Yay:) that would pretty great! Plus along with testing our burger we also deep fried some other things like tootsie rolls, bacon, and onions. The best was the bacon with BBQ sauce! haha anything taste good with BBQ sauce. That is besides our Burger ha! Well I will post back again with how we did in the competition, hopefully we'll come out with a Win!

so when I wrote this it was the day before the competition which was a couple of weeks ago, and now I'm just posting it... oops! Well anyways, to report back on the results....we didn't win :( but that's okay it was a super fun competition and I personally thought our burger was the best it just didn't fry as well that day. But anytime you want to try a DMK just call me up and I'll make it :) haha

HOMECOMING!!

So i realze that its been a pretty long time since the last time that we have posted anything and in trying to think aboutwhy that might have happened i came to the conclusion that is was because we havent had any real adventures as of latley.. BUT no need to fear we ahve fixed this propblem! Home coming was just a few weeks ago and i bet you can guess what is going to come next! Mckinzie and I were in the same homcoming group! haha  and it was.. how should i put it ... AWESOME!! haha it was super fun we were in a group with all of the swimmers and seeing as i am not anything close to  being a swimmer it was a bit of an eye opener. lets just say to all of those who dont know much about smimmers they are of a new bread. pretty much insane!  haha

SO.. for our day activity we had to go on a scavanger hunt and we were in the same car. Kenzie and her date Chris and me and my date Karsten. we had to drive all over the valley getting pictures of places that we went and some of the places even requited us to bring something else back. Needless to say after our trip to the Macys make-up department poor Karstens car smell like girl.. for a good week!

For us after that it was off to the Kerns pool to watch our men play water polo! After we got home and all prettied up we went over to Jackson's house for some cafe rio and chilling, and a few super funny photo moments then it was off the the dance for us!

After dinner it was off the the dance! Pictures and a couple hours of crazy high school dance moves later it was back to Jackson's house for some Karaoke and games and such. the perfect end to the perfect night! It was super fun and i'm so glad I got to go with McKenzie.. well in the same group at least!

Our Mall Adventure

So the other day Callie and I were bumming around the mall. And we just happened to “run” into the insane nail dude, well more like he ambushed as we are walking down the mall. Well anyways he is trying to sell us this nail file that will apparently keep our nails shine for up to a month, don’t get me wrong, it did get them shiny but just how long did it last…about a few days. The most annoying part was him try to persuade us into buying this kit with lotion, cuticle oil and the nail file…don’t worry though he was giving us this sceamin’ deal two for one! It would only cost us about $60 dollars each (actually, I’m not really sure how much they were I couldn’t understand anything he was saying in his Indian accent). Needless to say he buffered our nails and a week later it was back to normal. Every time were at the mall now, if we ever see him we book it past so we don’t have to experience that one again!

The Stalking of Jessica

Cookies? Check.
Pixie Stix? Check.
Cupcakes? Check.
Waiting in the car so we can be there the precise  moment she arrives? Check.
Looking over a fence from across a field to see if she is home? Check.
Creepish-ly looking on others blogs to make a fantastic picture? Double Check!
ya this is the result of the above mentioned creeping.

You know if you had to ask me, by the looks of it i would say that we defiantly fall under the "stalker" category on this one!
What do most high school kids do with their Friday nights? probably not stalk their ex- Sunday school teachers! haha But i guess it a good thing that they love us :)
NOW! what to do next? ....
