The Beginnings

This blog is exactly what it looks like... well kinda. This is the adventures of 2 High School girls and their cars. Callie and her Honda Accord “Clark” and McKenzie  and  he Jeep Wrangler “Tony”. And these are our stories.
In order for you all to get the full reasoning behind this blog you will have to take a little bit of a journey with us back in time. To 7/11/11, not our first adventure but it was the start of our ongoing great adventure.
On 7/11, as many or you are aware, if you go to any 7/11 they give out free slurpees that are 7.11 ounces. And McKenzie and I thought it would be fun to go to 7 or 11 different locations and get slurpees. And that day in our going out and about we got 7 free slurpees each. And we kept our cups and straws from each store as our token… or trophy to remember and celebrate the fact that we actually could finish 49.77 oz of slurpee. We even went to the effort of counting the colors of straws that we had and made sure that we had three of each color… except for the green ones because that would have made an odd number.

While driving around town on the lookout for any and all 7/11s that we could see we were going shopping for all sorts of treats to take to our girl’s camp, along with some party supplies so that we could make our tent super fun. We went to the dollar store and while wondering down the candy isle we found something that seemed… how should I put it… well gross. It was called a “marshmallow pall” and it was flavored and colored marshmallow cream in a squeezable tube shaped like a gorilla.  Needless to say we bought it and made everyone at our camp try it.

But if anyone out there has been to girl’s camp you know that the adventures don’t stop there. We had our girls camp a Payson Lakes, so our camp leaders told us to bring a large tee shirt or a cover up so that we could go to and from the lake modestly. McKenzie and I took it to the next level. We drove down to our local Deseret Industries and found ourselves some old house coats, or as we liked to call them our “Komonos”

But probably the best part of Girl’s Camp this year was the pranking with the beehives. They were so excited and eager to do something to terrorize the camp that we couldn’t let them down. There was only one problem with that; we are not exactly the pranking type. So we decided to take our nighttime adventures to a different level. We decided to make some of the leaders tents party tents just like ours! So we went with the beehives and taped balloons and streamers to the cars and tents of the leaders and those cute little beehives thought that was the greatest thing ever. In fact after we got don’t we looked at our watches and saw that it was 11:50 and one of the little ones replied, “ Is that all?!? Lets go do some more stuff!!”  Oh how we love Girl’s Camp!
